I kinda/sorta thought I was done with the coyotes this year as I ain't shot one for fur since Feb 2[and it weren't special. I was out looking for a pipe two days ago on the North side of my little shop and found a coyote that was shot back in November just coming through the snow.
So I had the lad hang him in the shop which he thought was stupid and we skinned him last evening. Great hide and today we'll board him as we washed her well after fleshing. I will say that skinning a fresh killed one is much easier but it was a good learning tool for the lad who will see what not throwing something away can pay.
