This is a really awesome idea. I wish I could take credit for it but I did find this on another site but had to share it. I decided to give it a try and looks like it will work real well.
I gave it a try on an MB450. I had some old replacement screen for a door, doubled it up, and cut it to size.
Next, I cut a piece of waxed paper for one side of the screen so the glue would not bleed through.
The pieces were stapled to make a "pita pocket" type cover.
Next, it was checked to see if it would fit,
Dried grass was glued to the screen.
The trap was fired to make sure there was no impedance from firing.
