Where does everyone sell their furs in Iowa?

groenewold fur and wool co. is who i sell to. the closest i beleive they get to you is fairfeild, and they only have two stops left jan 8th and jan 29th. Fairfield IA Clingan Livestock Yards 4 Mi West of Fairfield on Route 34 - North Side 12:00 PM 1:00 PM they arte very fair on pricing. hope you do well. Tony

Thanks Tony on the info.Have you ever sold to Veirs they come to a town about 15 miles away pretty convienent.

Nope i havent but if they have good prices id say why not. I have always sold to groenewold it helps that the driver for my route (Al ) is a great guy and fun to talk to. I'd like to know how your selling goes either way!

My first time I sold to Veirs I got 8 average on coons.1-18$,8-$12,18-$8,12-$4,4-$2,1$1 Rats 2-$7,8-$5 Sold about a month ago.Second sale last Thursday Rats 1-$7,5-$5 one kit at 1$ Coons 3-12$,7-$8,9-$5,3-$1 The last 3 were bad shape road kill.But a dollar is a dollar

I forgot to state that my second sale none of the coons were skinned out

that sounds good to me, very comparable prices between your buyer and mine. And since yours is closer even better for you. i wish i would have hit it harder this year but theres always next year. congrats on the catches btw. Tony

Thanks Tony this is my first year back at it I was on a 15 year vacation away from trapping but got laid off early this year so out of the shed came the traps.Didn't realize how much I missed it till I started setting steel last fall

I know their is a guy that comes through muscatine and buys fur at that sportsmen gas station on the edge on town kinda by gpc
